It costs a lot to provide free respite to caregivers. Even with an all-volunteer board and staff, there are still the costs of training materials, HIPPA-compliant care kits and extensive background checks – and that’s not to mention office rent and supplies, utilities and insurance.
Some people can afford to donate their time. Other people can afford to donate the funds to keep this vital community service operational.
