Soroptimists award OSEC $1,300

Thursday, April 20, 2017, Mary Jo Sweeney (R) of Soroptimist International of the Sierra Foothills presented a $1,300 check to Donna Raibley (middle ), executive director of One Source-Empowering Caregivers (OSEC). Raibley was accompanied by OSEC Volunteer Coordinator Harriet Totten and Volunteer Care Specialist Deborah Rousseau (who is standing behind Raibley in the picture). In a statement after the brief ceremony, Raibley said: “Many thanks to Soroptimist International of the Sierra Foothills for selecting OSEC as one of their mini-grant awardees. They have been supporters of One Source – Empowering Caregivers for the past two years, and again have been very generous in providing their support. This mini-grant will allow our organization to continue training Volunteer Care Specialists to provide respite care to caregivers who are caring for their loved ones at home. The Soroptimists are an amazing group of women who are committed to supporting the greater good in our community, and we thank them all!”
