Kudos to Assessment Care Team

Before a carefully trained and vetted Volunteer Care Specialist is placed in a caregiving home, one or more Assessment Care Team nurses visit the home to establish a rapport with the caregiver and care recipient – and to match the appropriate Volunteer Care Specialist with the care recipient.

Thanks to these dedicated nurses, One Source-Empowering Caregivers is now placing Volunteer Care Specialists in caregivers’ homes in Nevada County. All our volunteers are now deployed, and we have a waiting list. We will be training a new class of volunteers starting April 22 (three Saturdays).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Assessment Care Tea,
Clockwise from top left: Cindy Cooper, Kristen Whitehead, Diane Miessler and Maggie Cull are four experienced registered nurses (R.N.s) who comprise the mission-critical Assessment Care Team for One Source-Empowering Caregivers.

If you would like to become a member of the elite Volunteer Care Specialist team, please contact Executive Director Donna Raibley at 530-205-9514 or or 530-802-6154, or fill out our volunteer application to enroll in our next training.

Have a heart, give a caregiver hope.
